Mōrena e te whānau 👋
👉In case you missed the Government’s update yesterday, Auckland remains at Alert Level 2.5 and the rest of Aotearoa will be at Alert Level 2 until Monday 21st September. Cabinet will review these levels again on Monday 21st September, but at this stage they have agreed in principle that the rest of New Zealand will move to Level 1 next week – as long as case numbers continue to track as they are.
👉Distancing restrictions on public transport have been eased and operators are no longer needing to maintain seating restrictions or passenger capacity limits, but mask use on public transport remains compulsory.
👉Auckland’s gathering restrictions remain in place for social gatherings, funerals and tangihanga.
